Job Summary

Trainee Ship Broker

Our client an established global ship broking firm is looking for an Trainee Ship Broker to join their Handysize team.

Job Description

Responsibilities would include negotiating and fixing of ships.
Drawing up full recap upon fixing the deal.
Develop new customer base whilst building strong relationship with existing customers.
Provide market updates and research for clients.
Maintain existing client relationships

Requirements

A good university degree majoring in Maritime Studies or a related discipline
Knowledge of the Offshore market will be an advantage
Articulate with good inter-personal skills
Possess strong communication skills and customer oriented
Expected to work independently
