Job Summary

Our client a top healthcare company seeks a SAP FICO Consultant which involves delivering strong functional expertise in Finance and Controlling with an emphasis on controlling processes to support ongoing initiatives and enhancements across global operations.

This is a remote contractual role with occasional travel. The duration of this role starts at 6 months with the likelihood of renewal every 6 months based on performance.

Job Description:

Support and enhance SAP FICO processes with a primary focus on Controlling (CO)
Lead configuration testing and implementation of CO functionalities including cost center accounting profit center accounting internal orders and product costing
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements analyze gaps and deliver optimized financial and controlling solutions
Provide expertise in financial closing activities reporting and CO integrations with other SAP modules
Support global finance teams in system improvement initiatives issue resolution and process optimization
Create functional documentation test scripts and support materials as part of ongoing project cycles
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data consistency across modules

Requirements

Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant with strong proficiency in SAP Controlling (CO).
Hands-on expertise in cost center accounting internal orders product costing and profit center accounting.
Experience working in global SAP environments within complex business structures.
Strong understanding of FICO integration points with other SAP modules.
Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into high-quality functional designs.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote multinational environment.

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Information Technology or related field. 5 years of SAP FICO experience with strong focus on RTR / Account to Report / Treasury processes. Proven expertise in SAP Finance Testing including UAT SIT regression and cutover validation. Strong hands-on exposure to: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Asset Accounting (AA) House Bank Bank Accounting Automatic Payment Program Cash & Liquidity Management Treasury-related processes including reconciliation and payment integrations. Experience with end-to-end S/4HANA projects including implementation rollout or support. Strong understanding of month-end and year-end close activities within SAP Finance. Familiarity with methodologies defect tracking tools and quality assurance frameworks. Excellent communication skills to interact with offshore teams and onshore stakeholders. Ability to work independently under tight timelines while managing multiple priorities. Preferred Skills Experience with Vertex or SAP Tax Software integration. Exposure to automation tools for SAP (e.g. CBTA Worksoft Tricentis). Knowledge of IFRS GAAP and compliance standards relevant to ATR/Treasury. SAP certification in FICO or S/4HANA Finance is a plus.
