The role requires strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment rapid execution and analysis of actions excellent teamwork capabilities to work between various functions along with creativity to drive action in innovative ways. Proven project management along with functional skills in the area of marketing communications and an emphasis on digital marketing are a must.
Position Purpose:
Under the direction of the Global Marketing Communications Leader Personal Protection (located in NA) and working closely with the Regional Market Leaders (located in EU) the job requires the ability to strategically define plan execute and follow-up on marketing communication plans in the EU region.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for EU MC plan definition and execution including marketing and brand activities including content development product launch support tradeshows and events webinars PR and advertising and social/digital promotion through various online channels (web LinkedIn Youtube).
Work with a multi-functional group consisting of marketing technical legal and sales personnel to develop and execute MC plans for EU region.
Ensure brand consistency and proper brand use in promotional communications of the Company and its partners.
Manage MC budget according to business guidelines and lead MC plan execution within budget limits.
Manage the global labels and samples program portal which backs up our trademark licensees branding efforts.
Brief coordinate and follow up work with external agencies to support product launches content updates and development promotional action development tradeshows and online conference participation and regional sales activities.
Coordinate with appropriate department leaders and provide counsel on the most efficient channels to reach defined marketing goals.
Responsibility and accountability to drive plans through to execution as well as deliver appropriate metrics/measurement analyses on each execution.
10-15% travel may be required
Requirements
University degree or license with focus in Communications PR Journalism etc. or 5 years in related field preferred
Expertise and experience in marketing communications competency (e.g. brand public relations digital social media direct marketing tradeshows and customer events organization and execution)
Superior and proactive project management and organizational skills across multiple functions or business segments including the ability to manage complex and multiple projects a strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize
Strong communications skills both written and verbal and ability to work effectively in a multi-functional team
Takes initiative and works effectively as a team member with other MC and digital professionals
Genuinely promotes team spirit and commitment to common objectives
Experience in an industrial market or in B2B in general is a distinct advantage
Fluent English is a must.
