Job Summary

About the role

You will work with our Residential Aged Care teams to ensure the effectiveness of the VMCH Quality Management System and to support governance by:

  • Monitoring quality of care and service systems through audits and data analysis
  • Collating and analysing quality of care indicators
  • Identifying and reporting regulatory compliance risk and gaps

In addition you will promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality by leading an outcomes-based approach.

This position is for full time position reporting the Chief Quality Officer.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Experience in quality or management within a service context.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of aged care and the reforms happening in the sector.
  • Strong leadership organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with residents families and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work in a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Word Excel and Outlook.
  • Registered Nurse qualification and experience desirable.
