The Community Services Parks & Recreation Department enriches lives by providing a wide range of recreational opportunities parks and social services for residents of all ages. What Youll Do

As our new Counselor II you will:

• Conduct initial screening of prospective clients gather and assess background information and formulate treatment plans.
• Conduct individual small group and family counseling sessions; assist clients and family members in understanding and accepting substance abuse school marriage family and peer dysfunctions and treatment needs.
• Monitor treatment evaluate progress and advocate for clients with outside agencies.
• Perform crisis intervention counseling refers clients to appropriate treatment sources.
