AWS Observability organization is seeking a proactive customer service obsessed and team-oriented Executive Assistant to support a VP leader in a key role within our org based in our Seattle WA offices.
This role requires attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests across internal and external stakeholders. You will act as a seamless extension of the supported VP and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization as well as in the Security Services and Observability business. You will be comfortable in a fast-paced goal-focused environment while maintaining flexibility a sense of humor and composure.
Key to the position is the ability to be organized understand business priorities and to anticipate needs proactively while also serving as another go to for all members on this addition the ability to have a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is critical. You will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little guidance react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround and take effective action without having to know the whole picture.
This role requires five (5) days a week in office.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events activities and calendars
- Orchestrate complex calendars scheduling requirements and prioritization of executives tasks and appointments across time zones according to their importance urgency and relevance and ensuring strategic alignment with business priorities.
- Serve as a trusted liaison between executive leadership and key stakeholders facilitating clear communication channels and managing sensitive information with the highest level of discretion
- Execute end-to-end travel logistics for international and domestic trips including complex multi-city itineraries client-facing events and team visits across corporate offices.
- Lead the planning of events including staff meetings all-hands meetings executive offsites team-building activities supply ordering.
- Collaborate with the EA Community across AWS to drive best practices implement solutions and drive organizational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain tracking systems for critical deliverables ensuring on-time completion of executive and team commitments and providing regular status updates to key stakeholders.

- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- 5 years of senior level leadership support experience
- Experience managing executive level calendars
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
