ASSISTANT FOOTBALL COACH

Bridgewater College a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III is seeking applications for an Assistant Football Coach - Offensive Coordinator. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head Football Coach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the head coach in all facets of a Division III football program.
  • Recruiting prospective student-athletes who fit the mission and culture of the program and the College.
  • Organizing & conducting on-field coaching during practices and games.
  • Developing detailed scouting reports statistics and video analysis breakdowns.
  • Manage and provide feedback and evaluation to Offensive players and coaches.
  • Assist with program marketing and branding on a multitude of platforms including social media
  • Providing mentoring and support for the student-athletes particularly in regard to academics and player development.
  • Complying with all NCAA conference and college policies and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Candidates should have a strong Offensive background in High School or College level with proven football coaching experience including a track record of success as an Offensive coordinator.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic competency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Powerpoint Visio) applications is required.
  • Competency with HUDL or other editing software with a willingness to learn PQD.
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and be insurable by the colleges auto insurance carrier

Pay is competitive and salary is commensurate with experience. This full-time position offers a full benefits package including paid tuition at the College for eligible dependents.
