Job Summary
The Market CFO is directly responsible for Business Planning and Analysis and Insights including the development of the Annual Operating Plan and the Strategic Planning process. The role will also drive delivery of the annual financial Plans through financial reporting analysis and forecasting and action mitigation plans where delivery is at risk. This leader will have frequent interactions with the Market CEO external regulatory and compliance agencies at Market level and will play a critical role on the Senior Management Team. He/She plays a critical role in gaining senior executive alignment on business objectives ensuring adherence to good financial management.
This role is indirectly responsible for Accounting Tax and Treasury oversight at Market level and will work with the Global Team to ensure the implementation of the Corporate tax and Treasury policies. Depending on local Regulations the person may be also formally responsible for the filing of the Financial and Tax annual reports.
As a member of the Market executive leadership team this person is expected to leverage internal and external insight to highlight the greatest business opportunities and risks and provide direction on the strategic decisions to achieve short and long term plans. This role will provide counsel to the Market CEO to support key business decisions and ensure accountability for delivery of financial targets and provide updates on the business to the Formal Market Board including our JV addition to core financial functions of FP&A & Controllership this role will also have oversight of Procurement Function and will closely work with Customer Insights and Analytics Function in Japan.
This is a critical role for the QVC Japan business but also sits within the wider QVC International Finance team. The role reports directly to the QVC International CFO but has a very strong dotted line to the QVC Japan Market CEO.
