Role Overview

Mercor is partnering with a cutting-edge AI research initiative to generate high-quality Excel-based training data for financial modeling. Were seeking experienced finance specialists with deep Excel expertise to help synthesize realistic structurally complex spreadsheets across key financial domains. This short-term project-based engagement offers a unique opportunity to contribute domain knowledge to frontier model development.

Key Responsibilities

Write detailed prompts describing complex consulting workflows for synthetic Excel generation
Review and validate AI-generated spreadsheets for logical accuracy and formula structure
Refine models to ensure clean layout dynamic interdependencies and correct formatting
Contribute examples such as market sizing models cost-benefit analyses standalone costing and pricing strategy tools
Deliver formula-rich professional-grade Excel files with clear input-calculation separation
You will be given access to State-of-the-Art AI Agent that help you created advanced excels!!

Ideal Qualifications

3 years of experience in management consulting strategy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel especially in building analytical models and dashboards
Strong familiarity with frameworks used in consulting (e.g. cost modeling TAM analysis)
Attention to detail and ability to assess complex interrelated formulas
Experience creating or working with Excel models in client-facing or internal strategy projects

More About the Opportunity

Remote and asynchronous contributors set their own schedule
Expected time commitment: 10h/week
Project duration: 1 week (with possibility for extension)
Target volume: 20 unique high-complexity Excel files in 1 week.

Compensation & Contract Terms

$70/h
Payments issued weekly for accepted deliverables
Independent contractor arrangement
