What impact youll make:
As a member of the Power DT Infrastructure team you will be an active contributor to the architecting building and product management of core Power systems and infrastructure supporting the largest and most profitable GE Vernova segment. The Power Infrastructure team is responsible for supporting maintaining the operations and health of Powers most critical ERPs Database and web services.
Job Description
What youll do
Architectrobust IT infrastructure solutions that align with organizational goals and technical requirements.
Designdetailed project plans incorporating technical specifications timelines resource allocation and risk management strategies.
Implementindustry best practices for IT project management including Agile DevOps and ITIL frameworks.
Configureand deploy IT infrastructure components such as servers networking equipment storage systems and cloud services.
Automaterepetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g. Python PowerShell) to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Integratenew technologies and solutions into the existing IT ecosystem ensuring compatibility and minimal disruption.
OptimizeIT infrastructure performance through continuous monitoring analysis and improvement initiatives.
Troubleshootcomplex technical issues working closely with engineering and support teams to resolve problems promptly.
Documenttechnical specifications project plans and post-implementation reviews to maintain a knowledge base for future projects.
What youll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
Major experience in IT infrastructure architecture experience.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components including networking servers storage and cloud services.
Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills.
Fluent English knowledge is essential.
