Operations Team Lead Position - Amazon

As a Team Lead you will be responsible for managing shift operations facilitating cross-functional communication and driving process improvements. Key responsibilities include performance management data-driven decision making and maintaining effective relationships with both internal stakeholders (Finance Ops Excellence Fulfillment Centers) and external partners (Carriers Vendors/Suppliers). The role requires strong analytical capabilities to identify trends measure team performance and implement strategic improvements.

Technical proficiency in data management tools (Excel Access SQL) is highly valued as the position involves extensive data analysis and reporting. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills proven leadership abilities and a track record of successfully implementing process improvements. Most importantly they should embody Amazons customer-centric philosophy while driving operational excellence.

Core Responsibilities and Performance Management

The Team Lead will be responsible for developing and monitoring key performance indicators to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives. Stakeholder Management and Technical Expertise

The position requires exceptional stakeholder management skills maintaining productive relationships with both external partners (Carriers Vendors/Suppliers) and internal teams (Finance Operations Excellence Fulfillment Centers). The Team Lead will serve as a primary point of contact for issue escalation and resolution ensuring proper communication channels are maintained throughout the problem-solving process. Additionally proficiency in data management tools (Excel Access SQL) is essential for conducting detailed analysis generating reports and presenting actionable insights to drive business performance.


A day in the life

About the team
This role will be part of a 7 membered team which takes care of Air and Rail operations for West. All job roles will be reporting to the Regional Manager.

- Bachelors degree
- Speak write and read fluently in English
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

- Experience in an operational role
