Salary: 42K-50K per annum depending on experience and a 10% - 15% performance bonus.

The Role

Were looking for a proactive and results-driven Installation Manager to lead the successful delivery of renewable energy teams. From residential installations to large-scale commercial developments and ongoing maintenance services youll play a key role in ensuring seamless execution from start to this fast-paced role youll be working closely with our Head of Operations Projects teams and installation teams. We want someone who thrives in a team environment but also takes initiative to drive success and continuously develop their skills. If you have a get stuck in attitude and love seeing projects come to life this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

• Site Management & Supervision: Oversee daily operations audits and inspections to ensure renewable energy projects are completed on time safely and to high standards.
• Health Safety & Compliance (QS Responsibilities): Act as Qualified Supervisor enforcing regulations certifications and HSE protocols to maintain a strong safety culture.
• Workforce Management Training & Upskilling: Lead teams identify skills gaps and implement training to develop technical expertise and professional growth.
• Resource & Project Efficiency: Allocate materials equipment and workforce effectively to maximise productivity reduce waste and maintain sustainability.
• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Ensure installations meet standards mitigate risks and continuously improve processes with new technologies.

What were looking for:

• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Solar PV battery storage and EV systems with proven experience in installation and maintenance.
• Team Leadership: Over 3 years of experience managing on-site trades motivating teams and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Skilled in identifying assessing and mitigating risks while ensuring strict adherence to industry regulations and H&S standards.
• Supplier & Contract Management: Experienced in managing third-party relationships negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of services and materials.
• Professional Certifications: Holds relevant electrical and safety qualifications including IOSH City & Guilds and NVQ certifications.
• Passion for Renewable Energy: Deep commitment to sustainability and driving clean energy initiatives with a focus on impactful eco-friendly solutions.
• Exceptional Organisational Skills: You can juggle multiple teams and reporting prioritise tasks and keep everything moving seamlessly.
• Outstanding Communication: Youre confident in leading teams coordinating with clients and ensuring clear and effective communication at all levels.
• Detail-Oriented & Strategic Thinker: You anticipate potential issues manage risks proactively and maintain high attention to detail.
• Adaptability & Initiative: You thrive in a dynamic environment are hands-on and always look for ways to improve processes.
