Job Summary
A large and inclusive 1118 secondary school on the outskirts of Burton-on-Trent is seeking a committed English ECTto join its thriving faculty from January 2026.
About the Role
Youll teach English across KS3KS4 delivering a carefully sequenced curriculum that blends classic literature with modern diverse texts. The department uses shared schemes of learning but youll also have the freedom to bring your own creativity to lesson delivery. Teachers benefit from excellent literacy resources a centralised marking policy and a well-organised library that plays a central role in school life.
