Job Summary

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Innovation Manager to drive and coordinate innovation initiatives and R&D programs within our organization. You will work at the intersection of research engineering and external collaboration contributing to the development and execution of innovation projects from concept through validation and early deployment. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with a strong interest in innovation strategy technology scouting and structured execution of R&D initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate innovation initiatives on different topics from idea definition to technical validation and reporting.

Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across Engineering and Physics topics.

Define and manage program roadmaps milestones risk mitigation plans and stakeholder communications.

Coordinate with external partners suppliers and certification bodies to ensure program objectives and compliance requirements are met.

Oversee documentation budgeting reporting and program governance activities.

Contribute to technology scouting and assessment of emerging technologies aligned with company strategy.

Ensure technical feasibility and validate results in close collaboration with engineers and researchers.

Contribute to innovation strategy and technology scouting in alignment with market trends.

Required Qualifications:

PhD or masters degree in Physics Engineering or related disciplines.

Strong technical background in electronics or semiconductor-related technologies.

Experience in experimental research or device/system development.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate research activities and manage multiple workstreams.

Experience with technology transfer prototyping and early-stage product innovation.

Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in English; Spanish and Catalan are a plus.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience with European-funded R&D projects (Horizon Europe or similar).

Exposure to technology assessment or scouting and innovation analysis.

Knowledge of neuromorphic computing AI or emerging technologies.

Knowledge of Agile or other project management methodologies
