Job Summary

Job Title:Senior Technical Architect

Location:Santa Ana CA ( Onsite role)

Long Term Project

Architecture and Strategic Planning Duties:

Lead the technical architecture of a secure resilient and scalable hybrid environment (Azure Amazon Web Services (AWS) and on-premises).
Define integration strategies for legacy systems and cloud-based workloads.
Develop infrastructure standards policies and lifecycle strategies to guide modernization.

Infrastructure Operations and Subject Matter Expert (SME) Duties:

Serve as the lead technical expert (Level 4) for infrastructure virtualization networking and cloud services.
Work on-site to provide hands-on leadership in system implementation maintenance and performance optimization.
Provide after-hours support and overtime as needed during critical cutovers incidents or emergency responses.
Act as a SME and technical mentor to Information Technology (IT) staff supporting internal knowledge transfer and skill-building.
Mentor IT staff on Microsoft 365 Intune Azure Backup and Endpoint Manager operations.

Security and Compliance Duties:

Design secure architectures compliant with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and state/local law enforcement standards.
Oversee identity architecture (Active Directory Azure Active Directory (AD) Entra ID Amazon Web Services Identify and Access Management (AWS IAD) Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) Role-based Access Control (RBAC)).
Oversee the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) infrastructure ensure encryption access control auditability and secure connectivity across environments.

Cloud Integration and Migration Duties:

Guide the phased migration of infrastructure workloads and services to cloud platforms.
Architect hybrid networking (Virtual Private Network (VPN) Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) ExpressRoute Direct Connect) and ensure connectivity with public safety systems.
Utilize Infrastructure as Code (Terraform PowerShell CloudFormation) to automate deployments.

Documentation Training and Support Duties:

Maintain detailed and current documentation: diagrams Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) runbooks security plans and recovery procedures.
Conduct technical knowledge transfer sessions and provide formal and informal training to department staff.
Create and maintain compliance documentation for internal and third-party audits.
Any other activities reasonably related to the foregoing as assigned by Client
