Job Description
• Analyse client RFQs RFPs and tender documents including technical and commercial specifications.
• Design process flow diagrams (PFDs) and preliminary P&IDs for water/wastewater treatment plants (ETP STP ZLD etc.).
• Perform treatment scheme selection and process design calculations including mass balance hydraulic calculations and chemical dosing requirements.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals including:
- Bill of Quantities (BOQ)s.
- Equipment sizing & selection.
- Preliminary layout and GA drawings in coordination with design team.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments (design procurement execution) to finalize scope specifications and costs.
• Support sales/BD team in client meetings technical discussions and proposal clarifications.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies treatment methods and regulatory standards. |
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Environmental / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the water/wastewater treatment industry particularly in proposal and process design.
• Sound knowledge of treatment processes such as ASP MBR MBBR DAF RO UF clarifiers and chemical dosing systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) and familiarity with AutoCAD and process design software (e.g. WaterCAD BioWin or equivalent) is a plus.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and cost estimation skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings tender documents and client specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience in client-facing roles is preferred.
• Self-motivated organized and capable of handling multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines. |
