Position: Engineer - Quality
Location: Kochi
Qualification: BTech EEE/EC/Electronics
Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in EMS or similar industry (Medical/Industrial products).
Salary: 35000
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Engineering & Cross-Functional teams from early project stages to understand customer requirements.
- Participate in NPI build processes and FAI qualifications.
- Coordinate customer evaluations and audits.
- Monitor & control Process and Test Yields at various stages.
- Address customer feedback/complaints promptly and effectively.
- Lead and close Corrective Actions using structured problem-solving tools.
- Interact with customers on all quality-related matters.
- Drive Zero-Defect and Six Sigma culture within the plant.
- Make customer site visits when required.
- Manage RMA (Return Material Authorization) processes.
- Conduct internal quality-related trainings.
# Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 & industry-specific standards.
# Good working knowledge of EMS processes: SMT TH AOI ICT FCT and electro-mechanical integration.
# Understanding of QMS standards ESD and continuous improvement tools (Kaizen Lean Six Sigma).
# Knowledge of IPC Electronics Workmanship Standards (IPC-A-610 J-STD-001) preferred.
