Job Summary
Convert clinical trial inclusion/exclusion criteria into precise computable logic.
Build and maintain semantic/business layer structures for patient cohort identification.
Develop complex SQL (CTEs window functions UDFs/TVFs) and Python-based data logic.
Collaborate with Data Engineering and AI teams to design scalable cohort models.
Validate data outputs using EHR claims labs and other clinical datasets.
Communicate requirements and results clearly with clinical and product stakeholders.
Requirements
Strong SQL and Python (procedural programming).
Experience interpreting clinical trial protocols (I/E criteria).
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Understanding of healthcare data structures and quality assurance methods.
Experience with AWS (S3 Lambda Athena) or GCP (Cloud Storage Cloud Functions BigQuery).
Familiarity with FHIR OMOP CDISC or semantic/ontology modeling.
Background in clinical operations real-world evidence (RWE) or digital health.
