To assist Head of Legal and Compliance in conducting day to day legal and compliance related issues. Coordinate with internal departments to deliver effective legal and compliance support to business stakeholders.
Key Tasks & KPI
- Coordinate with internal departments to deliver effective legal and compliance support to business stakeholders.
Legal:
- Supervise and manage litigation through external counsels across judicial and quasi-judicial forums ensuring timely updates to legal records and databases.
- Conduct legal research on various points of law to support day-to-day business operations and decision-making.
- Verify legal documents and actively participate in real estate and other commercial transactions on behalf of the company.
- Draft review negotiate and finalize legal agreements contracts and MOUs governing commercial relationships with third parties.
- Manage correspondence and interactions with regulatory and governmental authorities in connection with company operations.
- Manage and coordinate the external panel of advisors counsels and consultants.
Compliance:
- Conduct training sessions for store-level and head office employees on Compliance Guidelines and Policies.
- Handle Corporate Compliance and employee compliance matters including regular follow-ups to ensure timely adherence.
- Conduct and manage Investigation into non-compliance complaints reported by employees or external parties ensuring proper resolution and thorough documentation.
- Collaborate with branding and marketing team to develop compliance-related communication materials including posters standees and digital content.
- Review update and implement company policies and guidelines under the direction of the Head of Legal & Compliance.
Data Protection:
- Possess relevant qualifications and experience in data protection with the ability to identify and manage risks related to data sharing and processing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement data protection measures and ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and standards.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
