The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support our Asia regulatory initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in food science food technology or nutrition to gain hands-on experience in the regulatory field.

Job Responsibilities

1. Product Registration Support:

• Consolidate and complete necessary documents to support new and re-registrations.
• Update renewed product registrations in Smartsheet.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date with local regulatory requirements.

1. Strategic Initiatives Support

• Support Asia regulatory initiatives by compiling and analyzing regulatory and product information data.
• Consolidate and report findings through initial written reports to the regulatory lead of Asia.

1. Horizon Scanning and Research:

• Monitor government and key intelligence websites for regulatory and policy updates particularly in the food-health products interface.
• Focus on topics such as front-of-pack and back-of-pack nutritional labelling functional & active ingredients approval health claims substantiation e-commerce requirements sustainability (packaging) initiatives etc.
• Conduct desktop research on emerging food regulatory topics including sustainability.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Formal education in nutrition/food science/food technology (Diploma or Degree)
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using MS Word Excel PowerPoint Smartsheet
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
