Senior Project Controls Specialist

• Utilize company cornerstone systems to manage and represent cost data formats necessary for project control and financial reporting.
• Analyze financial data and earned value metrics to identify key project issues prepare revised cost forecasts and assess progress trends and cost impacts.
• Evaluate manpower labor hours and labor costs against budget limitations; prepare variance analysis and expenditure forecasts to identify critical funding points.
• Review and track purchase order subcontract commitments and contractor invoices to ensure subcontractor funding aligns with work authorization and expenditures.
• Establish and maintain cost/schedule baselines using project drawings and specifications; apply critical path analysis and cost/schedule integration concepts.
• Manage scope control and change order tracking to ensure project management maintains awareness of detailed change status and financial implications.
• Conduct performance measurement cost trending and prepare various levels of project reporting and cost review meeting presentations.

Qualifications :

• Degree in Engineering Finance or related field
• Minimum 8 years experience in project controls in the construction industry
• Skilled in verbal and written communication.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering procurement contracts construction and startup work processes.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to plan organize direct perform review and present schedule products independently with minimal supervision including using a high level of professional judgment and knowledge related to technical planning and scheduling skills and engineering design construction and procurement practices.
