About the Opportunity

As our Community Fundraising Coordinator you will build relationships with community fundraisers community groups and businesses while aiding in event coordination for many of our fundraising event campaigns to help increase revenue for the community fundraising this role you will also:

  • Lead the co-ordination and end to end management of our Collection Dog Program Bendigo Easter Egg Hunt event as well as event volunteer coordination and logistics management with internal and external stakeholders for our Santa Fun Run.

About You

The ideal candidate for the Community Fundraising Coordinator position brings 3 or more years experience in event management and community fundraising. This role includes looking after end to end events of approx. 5000 people and requires skills such as:

  • Proven experience in Events Management role
  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
  • Plan coordinate and execute events for up to 5000 people
  • Ability to manage end-to-end logistics for external and internal events
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage budgets
  • Thorough understanding of fundraising and the principles of community fundraising and stewardship
