Job Summary
APEC Digital Products is looking for a driven and business-savvy Business Analyst Intern who is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance Marriotts digital presence and value-add. Join us in delivering exceptional digital experiences that redefine travel for our business segments and customers worldwide.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with various APEC business segments to align on business requirements and technical strategies emphasizing the integral role of technology in Marriotts operations.
- Apply UI/UX principles in identify pain points and opportunities to enhance the end-to-end experience for customer travelers in APEC.
- Analyze web analytics data and generate performance reports and data insights to facilitate business decisions.
- Manage the creation and optimization of webpages ensuring they meet business goals technical feasibility and user experience standards.
JOB KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong proficiency in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- The ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
- Dependability flexibility and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Openness to learning and growing within the internship experience.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working experience with CMS (example: WordPress) HTML CSS is a strong asset but not necessary.
- Knowledge in website design best practices is beneficial but not necessary.
- Working experience with Microsoft Excel (data summarizing VLOOKUP to name a few) is a strong asset.
- Knowledge in Adobe Analytics and SQL is beneficial but not necessary.
QUALIFICATION STANDARD
- Education:
- Undergraduate in Business Management or Hospitality preferably in their third year of undergrad studies
- Requirements
- Singaporean Singapore Permanent Resident Holder or valid student pass
- Prepared to commit to a six months internship
- Eligible for undergraduate in a Singapore registered university program
- Grooming:
- All employees must maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance per Marriott standards.
