Learn new technology. Provide support to surgeons. Change healthcare. Improve lives.As an Associate Mako Product Specialist at Stryker you will help improve orthopedic surgeries around the world and help us achieve our mission of making healthcare better.

In this role youll be responsible for helping surgeons useStrykers Mako robot our newest product used in robotic-arm assisted surgery. Acting as a helpful source for all things related to the Mako youll provide clinical support to all end-users offer guidance and assistance during surgical procedures and resolve technical product and service issues as addition youll also provide customer education and ongoing in-services such as assisting surgeons in pre-operative implant planning. Well count on your attention to detail to ensure all cases are planned and reviewed with surgeons prior to scheduled surgeries and that all inventory is accounted addition to the trusting partnerships youll build with surgeons and hospital staff youll also work collaboratively with internal sales and marketing colleagues helping them grow product utilization and increase volume with current and potential customers.

What you will be doing:

  • Must pass Joint Replacement & MAKO examinations within probation.

  • Provide case coverage as MPS (Mako Product Specialist) and standby as Clinical Specialist for conventional joint replacement cases.

  • Provide surgeons and operating room staff with training and Clinical/Technical support.

  • Pre-operative CT scans planning and CT segmentation.

  • Support operational process including not limiting to case booking documentations reporting billing & consignment counts etc.

  • Support training and sales /marketing activities as needed.

  • Provide prompt and accurate complaint reports per the requirements of Strykers quality system.

  • Collaborate with sales & clinical team to deliver high standard of service & quality care to patients.

  • Must be able to support On-call duty based on team roster.

  • Support in case date collection in .

Who are we looking for:

  • Diploma or Degree preferable in Nursing Biomedical Science Biomedical Engineering or related medical fields.

  • Preferably a minimum 2 - 3 years prior experience in medical devices / orthopedics industries

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills i.e Excel.

  • Prior operating theatre experience will be highly advantaged.

  • Able to communicate in English both written and spoken.

  • Good interpersonal skills and pleasant personality

  • Strong focus on excellent customer service

  • Strong desire to acquire medical and product knowledge and a drive to succeed

  • Strong problem solving skills

Travel Percentage: 10%
