Job Summary
The SWAS Trading Manager is responsible for the Stationery shop floor area including the print and copy centre as well as the Entertainment and Technology area of The Warehouse.
Leading the teams of those areas you will deliver and maintain blue-print and merchandising standards and deliver the trading plans overseeing the implementation and maintenance of planograms and ensuring pricing integrity and availability meets expectations.
You will also provide support for the opening and closing of the store and take on sole charge of the entire store when required.
Wanaka is a resort town in the lower south Island set on the southern end of lake Wanaka with stunning views of snowcapped mountains. Its the gateway to the Southern Alps Mount Aspiring National Park a wilderness of glaciers beech forests and alpine lakes and Treble Cone and Cardrona ski resorts are close by! This is one of our newest stores servicing both the locals and many tourists to the area.
Working Sunday to Thursday hours are flexible (45 hours a week) - this will include 1 late night a week.
Qualifications :
Ideally to be successful in this role you will at least have:
Demonstrated successful leadership experience
The ability to interpret and execute plans with a good eye for detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Everything you do will contribute to a positive customer experience an engaged team and a profitable store
