Job Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic academically driven and committed Maths ECT to join a respected grammar school in Heworth York. This is a full-time permanent post beginning January 2026 ideal for a teacher who values high academic expectations supportive colleagues and a well-resourced Maths department.
Job Overview
You will teach Maths across KS3KS4 delivering lessons that build fluency reasoning and problem-solving across all strands of the curriculum. The school is seeking an ECT who enjoys modelling thought processes designing structured tasks and supporting pupils to secure excellent outcomes.
There will also be opportunities to participate in maths extension programmes enrichment clubs and ECT mentoring sessions.

Experience & Qualifications
Degree in Mathematics or related field
PGCE with QTS (ECT applicants encouraged)
