Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with hands-on expertise in testing RDK-B based broadband devices including gateways routers and mesh Wi-Fi systems. The candidate will be responsible for manual and automation testing debugging and validating firmware functionalities to ensure high-quality broadband products.

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform manual and automation testing on broadband CPE devices (routers modems gateways mesh devices).
Validate RDK-B components SDK integrations and firmware customizations.
Execute functional system performance and stress testing.
Analyze logs capture packets identify defects and collaborate with development teams.
Develop automation scripts using Python / Shell and frameworks like Robot Framework / PyTest.
Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) to integrate automated test suites.
Prepare test reports bug reports and ensure smooth QA delivery.

Mandatory Skills

Experience with RDK-B broadband CPE home gateway devices.
Strong knowledge of networking: Wi-Fi LAN/WAN TCP/IP IPv4/IPv6.
Protocols: DOCSIS TR-069 TR-369 (USP) SIP.
Test automation using Python / Shell scripting.
Tools: Wireshark GDB Jenkins Git log analysis.
Experience in embedded Linux testing environments.
