A leading Jewellery Retail Chain of Stores is looking for experienced candidate in Overall head for jewellery retail operations responsible for sales growth store profitability brand standards customer experience and leading store/area managers across one or more outlets.
Key responsibilities
Lead and oversee daytoday operations of jewellery stores ensuring smooth running of sales billing inventory and visual merchandising.
Own sales targets and P&L: plan and drive monthly/annual revenue margins and store KPIs through campaigns crossselling upselling and clienteling.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships especially highvalue and repeat clients ensuring a premium trustbased buying experience.
Manage inventory and stock security: gold/diamond/precious jewellery stock levels stock rotation shrinkage control and compliance with SOPs.
Recruit train and mentor store managers and sales teams on product knowledge grooming selling skills and service standards.
Ensure adherence to brand guidelines store ambience safety and statutory/compliance norms (billing documentation audits).
Work with marketing and management on local marketing events festivals and new store launches to grow the brand.
Requirements
Required skill sets
815 years of experience in retail with substantial experience in jewellery / luxury / highvalue retail and at least a few years in a leadership role.
Strong people leadership: managing store managers and large sales teams ability to coach motivate and enforce discipline.
Excellent customerservice orientation with strong relationshipbuilding and objectionhandling skills for highticket purchases.
Solid understanding of jewellery products (gold purity diamond basics certification making charges schemes) and customer buying behaviour.
Strong skills in sales planning target setting and reviewing KPIs (footfall conversion ATV UPT ticket size repeat customers).
Good command of MIS Excel and reporting; comfortable working with POS/retail software and CRM.
High integrity and focus on process audit and loss prevention in a cash and inventorysensitive environment.
