The team out at Banyo Depot are seeking the right candidate to fill a Permanent & TemporaryPlant Operator position.
About the position:
We are looking for a reliable person willing to work and support the reactive work the team does. The role will work with public drainage complaints that can demand quick responses at times together with rapid changes to plans so having flexibility to adapt is key. The role is not full time plant operating and team members are expected to do labouring and safety spotting duties daily. The team delivers a capital ballast renewal project across weekend closures with on track vehicles which once ticketed team members travel around the network and operate.
The role is based out of the Banyo Plant and Mechanised Maintenance depot and the team generally work a 10 on 4 off block working roster based around weekend track closures with hours ofmid week and it can be all hours across weekend track closures.
To be successful you must be available to work anywhere in the SEQ area from Gympie to Varsity Lakes and out to Rosewood along with some regional work as required throughout the year.
The team is based out of the Banyo Plant and Mechanised Maintenance depot.
