Job Summary
We currently have an opportunity at our Sydney Airport for an Aerodrome Operator to join our team. This is a shift work position which requires some degree of flexibility in relation to shift start and finish times. Full or Part time positions are available with Weekend and public holiday work required. It will be suited to someone that wants to stay active and has an interest in the Aviation industry. Twelve weeks of intensive training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Mainly focused on tarmac operations to assist customers and conduct Into Plane Fuelling
- Driving fuel dispensers
- Engaging in tasks at elevated heights
- Handling manual tasks and entering data
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- Ensuring fuel quality control through testing.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience operating within airport apron environments or aircraft refuelling operations highly desirable.
- Current Heavy Rigid and Dangerous Goods licenses desirable
- Strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills with a positive outlook
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Attention to detail
- Strong commitment to HSSE (Health Safety Security & Environment) practices
- Desire to work and contribute to a high performing team
- Reliable transport and current drivers licence (min. two years full licence).
- Flexibility to cover changing workload demand within an airport over a 24 hour operation which will include weekend work
