Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule Options:
Night Shift
Hours: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Shift Structure: 312-hour shifts
Weekly Hours: 36
Day Shift
Hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Candidates may select Day or Night shift based on availability.
Position Summary
A dedicated and experienced Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse is needed to provide high-quality patient care on a busy medical-surgical unit with telemetry monitoring. This role requires strong clinical judgment excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and assess patients requiring medical-surgical and basic telemetry care.
Administer medications manage IVs and perform routine nursing procedures.
Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans.
Document patient assessments interventions and progress accurately.
Ensure patient safety and compliance with all clinical standards and facility protocols.
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York (or compact eligibility).
Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg and/or Telemetry experience required.
Certifications: BLS required ACLS preferred.
Strong assessment multitasking and telemetry interpretation skills.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends/holidays as needed.
