Job Summary for Cath Lab RN (OSU):
- Provide nursing care in the Cath Lab handling diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Work schedule: Monday Friday 7:30am 4:00pm; on-call one night per week and every 4th weekend (call details based on skill set).
- Care for patients with diagnoses such as AMI STEMI NSTEMI heart arrhythmias PAD PVD and those requiring EP devices.
- Perform and assist in Cath Lab (diagnostic PCI) EP Lab (device changeout/upgrades ICD Pacer) Vascular Angiogram and simple IR procedures.
- Operate specialized equipment including Impella IABP temporary pacers Shockwave DFR IVUS and FFR.
- Document care and procedures using EPIC (EMR system).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Required qualifications: Minimum 3 years Cath Lab RN experience current State RN license ACLS and BLS certifications; CCI RCIS certification preferred.
