Hitachi Energy is seeking a Corporate Controller North America. This exciting leadership opportunity leads financial planning analysis and controlling for Hitachi Energys US operations. Ensure compliance accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting while driving strategic initiatives to enhance business performance. The role will be based in Hitachi Energys North America HQ in Raleigh NC.
Mission Statement
Lead financial planning analysis and controlling for Hitachi Energys US
operations. Ensure compliance accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting while driving strategic initiatives to enhance business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all corporate function-controlling activities for US
operations ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
Review financial statements and provide monthly reporting on key KPIs to local and global management.
Monitor and analyze capital expenditure budgets and actual spending; provide variance analysis and recommendations.
Partner with global and local controllers to assess financial performance and implement improvement actions.
Collaborate with the CFD / RFD and senior leadership on strategic financial initiatives.
Act as a finance business partner to functional managers supporting decision-making and financial planning.
Drive process improvement initiatives across regional and global finance operations.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in Financial Planning & Analysis or
Controlling preferably in a multinational environment. Must be eligible to work in the US.
Education: Masters degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work
independently.
Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to
stakeholders and auditors.
In-depth knowledge of US GAAP IFRS and current accounting standards.
