Key Responsibilities
Partner with the HR Manager to manage the entire hourly hiring process including drafting compelling job postings screening resumes coordinating interviews and preparing offer letters.
Organize andfacilitatedrug screenings background checks and new hire orientations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Maintainaccurateand up-to-date electronic databases for HR forms and employee records.
Support the HR Manager with administrative tasks and special projects including data compilation analysis and generating reports for leadership.
Coordinate employee training sessions and distribute relevant materials to keep our team informed and empowered.
Helpmaintaincompany policies and procedures updating electronic databases as needed to ensure compliance and clarity.
Process employee terminations ensuring accuracy and confidentiality throughout the workflow.
Assistwith organizing employee events and activities fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Serve as a resource for employeesregardingpayroll PTO andbenefitsquestionsprovidingaccuratetimely and respectful support.
Handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion supporting a culture of trust.
Consistentlydemonstratereliable attendance and a collaborative attitude.
Embraceadditionalduties andprojects asassigned to support the HR team and organization.
Qualifications
High school diplomarequired; relevant college coursework or degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of two years experience in human resources with a focus on recruitment and HR administration. Experience in construction or industrial settings is a plus.
Valid state drivers license and a clean driving record.
Bi-lingualproficiencyis a significant asset.
Work Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical drug screen and background check.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance with company policies.
Teamplayerwilling toassistcolleagues and supervisors as needed.
Flexibility to travel or work evenings and weekends whenrequired.
Knowledge & Skills
Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiencyin office technology including computers copiers and printers.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to analyze issues independently and work effectively under deadlines.
Attention to detail and capacity to follow complex instructions.
Consistent reliability and punctuality.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to stand walk use hands and fingers communicate clearly and focus visually (with correction).
Frequent sitting standing and walking for extended periods.
Fast-paced office setting with occasional moderate noise.
