SAP PP Functional Analyst

Job Description:

As a SAP PP specialist the candidate should have a good functional knowledge in standard SAP Production modules along with integration with other SAP modules.

He/she should be very familiar with the Manufacturing processes. He/She should be comfortable with components of SAP PP such as BOM ( PP-BD-BOM) Production version Work CenterRoutings Production Planning Cycle & the concerned dataset ( table structure).

The candidate should have worked on integrated systems and should be comfortable with monitoring of interfaces and applications. The candidate must be familiar with working on heavily customized objects.

The candidate should have experience working in Project Application Support Services in an end-user facing position and he/she should be familiar with Incident Management and Problem Management along with an understanding of Business priority and criticality. He/she should have also worked on Change Management processes.

The concerned domain is Aircraft Manufacturing and production. The candidate if selected will work in an international distributed and multi-functional team; using an agile mind-set and methodology.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field with 5-7 years of experience in SAP.

Extensive experience in SAP ECC 6.0 (or higher) Production Planning configuration and support.- Must have successfully completed at least two full lifecycle implementations of SAP PP in an ECC environment.

S/4HANA Mandate (Strategic Differentiator): Mandatory experience in SAP S/4HANA. Must have successfully completed at least one end-to-end implementation/migration project of SAP S/4HANA in the Production Planning module.

Deep understanding of the differences and simplification items between ECC and S/4HANA specifically regarding MRP Live and the transition to embedded PP/DS.

Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in ECC and S/4HANA core PP processes including Production Orders Master Data (BOMs Routings) and Fiori Apps for manufacturing in the S/4 environment. A basic understanding of SAP ABAP along with debugging would be given preference.

Industry: Prior experience in Aerospace Defense Automotive or complex Discrete Manufacturing industries is highly desirable.

Methodology: Proven familiarity with the SAP Activate methodology for S/4HANA projects coupled with experience in traditional SAP implementation methodologies for ECC.
