Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Technical Writer

In this role the candidate as Technical Writer will be primarily responsible creating and maintaining documentation about how various applications work and the business rules in which it operates. The person for this role will work be part of the engineering team but will work closely with training and operations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Documentation:
oCreate edit and organize user manuals technical guides FAQs and other documentation to support product and service understanding.
oEnsure all documentation is clear concise and tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
oWork closely with developers engineers product managers and other stakeholders to gather and clarify technical information.
oAlign documentation with product updates and team objectives.

Ensure Quality and Consistency:
oReview and edit content for clarity grammar and adherence to company style guidelines.
oImplement version control practices to maintain updated and accurate documentation.

Innovate Documentation Practices:
oIntegrate visuals diagrams and multimedia elements to enhance user understanding.
oExplore and utilize tools to improve documentation accessibility and engagement.

Content Management:
oOrganize and manage documentation repositories using tools such as Git Confluence or SharePoint.
oMaintain a structured process for updating and distributing documentation.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications

Bachelors degree in business information systems (IS) computer science or related field or equivalent-related IT experience

Preferred Skills:
Experience in SaaS platforms or the home/field service industries.
Knowledge of payments processing systems and security best practices
Exposure to legacy modernization projects and domain-driven design.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
