Job Summary

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT professional with a strong foundation in network security and a proven track record in information security with over 3 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience. This role is critical to shaping and executing the organizations information security strategy ensuring robust protection of enterprise assets across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will lead security governance drive compliance with industry standards and champion a proactive security culture. You will be responsible for overseeing network security infrastructure implementing advanced security controls and guiding teams through risk mitigation and incident preparedness. Your expertise will directly impact the organizations resilience against evolving cyber threats while aligning security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and enforcement of information security policies standards and processes aligned with industry frameworks such as ISO27001 NIST and CIS benchmarks.
Oversee network security strategy including change governance approvals and continuous improvement of security controls.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for critical assets and guide teams in implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
Implement and manage advanced network security technologies including firewalls IPS WAF DNS security routing/switching VPNs application gateways and proxy solutions.
Ensure the security and integrity of infrastructure environments including cloud platforms by enforcing best practices and secure configurations.
Monitor emerging threat landscapes and recommend proactive security measures to strengthen organizational defenses.
Ensure alignment of security practices with business goals regulatory mandates (e.g. GDPR SOC2) and compliance requirements.
Mentor and develop junior security personnel fostering a security-first mindset across teams.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Cybersecurity Information Security IT or Computer Science.
Minimum of 15 years of total IT experience with at least 3 years dedicated to information security roles.
Hands-on expertise in network security technologies: firewalls IPS DNS WAF routing/switching and secure network architecture.
Practical experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS Oracle GCP) and cloud security implementation and best practices.
Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks including ISO27001 SOC2 and GDPR.
Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM are highly desirable.
Willingness to work in a work-from-office model with alternate Saturdays (1st/3rd and 5th Saturdays) and flexibility to work any shift including 24x7 operations as required.
