We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientedMobile QA Engineerwith hands-on experience in automated testing for web and mobile applications particularly using Appium and Webdriver IO. You will be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on ensuring product quality through robust test automation and efficient QA practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts forweb and mobile applications using WebdriverIO and Appium as primary testing tools.
Execute end-to-end functional and regression testing acrossiOS Android and web platforms ensuring high test coverage.
Identify document and track defects clearly and accurately collaborating closely with developers for efficient resolution.
Work with developers product owners and designers to define test strategies and ensure full coverage of business and technical requirements.
Participate in sprint planning activities provide QA estimates and ensure test cases align with acceptance criteria.
Contribute to integrating automated tests intoCI/CD pipelines (GitLab)and support test execution within automated workflows.
Assist in triaging reproducing and documenting reported issues with clear actionable details.
Advocate and apply QA best practices within Agile development teams.

Required Qualifications

46 years of QA Automation experience with at least3 years of hands-on automation experience using Appium and/or WebdriverIO.
Proven experience with Playwright for web automation.
Proven experience with MongoDB.
Proven experience automatingmobile (iOS/Android)and/or web test suites at scale.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies test design techniques and defect lifecycle management.
Proficient in writing and maintaining automation scripts inJavaScript/TypeScript(or a similar programming language).
Experience using bug tracking tools (e.g.ClickUp Jira) and version control systems (e.g.GitLab).
Familiarity with continuous integration toolsespeciallyGitLab CIand integrating automated test suites into CI pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

Exposure to API testing performance testing or security validation.
Familiarity with test management platforms andcloud-based mobile device testing services(e.g. BrowserStack Sauce Labs).
Knowledge ofAWSor cloud infrastructure.
Experience managing work inClickUp.
