Job Description

As a member of the General Insurance Journey (GIJ) you will help define and deliver general insurance shopping experiences that continually deliver value to our customers colleagues and our business.

The candidate should be customer and results focused with demonstrated ability to impact and influence. This individual will need to be adaptive and resourceful and should enjoy operating amidst a dynamic fast-paced and exciting environment.

Key Accountabilities

Lead opportunity assessments initiate and support business case development for General Insurance growth opportunities

Deliver regular scans of competitive landscape and offerings by keeping a close pulse on the external environment leveraging social media white papers and other research approaches

Evolve GIJ Shop experiences through thought leadership leveraging customer and market insights working with internal partners (i.e. Marketing Product Data & Analytics Distribution Channels) to identify new acquisition-driving opportunities

Work closely with Marketing partners to plan executive and deliver acquisition-focused campaigns and initiatives ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives

Exercise influence and strong relationship management to engage and work alongside SMEs from across TD Insurance and other LoBs to see projects through to completion

Job Requirements

Understanding of TDI General Insurance product offerings and competitive landscape

A keen desire to learn new things and focus on personal growth and development

Proven track record of tactical project delivery and problem-solving skills

Self-motivated team player with high energy and ability to work independently

Easily adapts and works effectively in a variety of situations and various individuals or groups

Proven relationship management skills with the ability to impact and influence

Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

Strong communication and presentation skills verbal and written

Marketing experience is considered an asset

Education

  • Undergraduate degree or product management certificate and /or 7 years relevant experience
  • Previous Product experience typically required
