Job Summary

Storeroom Manager

The Storeroom Manager at Fairmont Chateau Whistler is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of our on-site Warehouse managing inventory and ensuring organization structure and proper storage of all goods and items.

This is a full-time permanent position.

Salary Range: $62000 - $65000 per annum

Job Duties Include:

  • Collaborate with the Storekeepers to ensure all items are delivered distributed and stored safely and efficiently
  • Ensure all products received are properly stored while maintaining rotation storage areas fridges and freezers
  • Participate in monthly inventory counts and daily spot checks including EHC audit practices
  • Ensure proper application of FIFO safe food-handling and appropriate storage standards
  • Train and support the Purchasing & Receiving Team
  • Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures related to inventory control and receiving

Qualifications :

  • Experience in a Food Storage & Warehouse facility
  • Experience in inventory management
  • Previous team leader experience
  • Proficient in MS Office
