Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Manage and participate in construction and facilities-related litigation matters including contract disputes defect claims and public works issues.

  • Handle all aspects of case management from initial evaluation through discovery motion practice trial preparation and resolution.

  • Conduct legal research draft pleadings briefs and motions and assist with strategy development.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective litigation and settlement approaches.

  • Engage in direct client contact and assume increasing responsibility for case leadership and courtroom experience.


Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

  • Active California Bar membership in good standing.

  • 4 - 8 years of litigation experience preferably in construction-related disputes or complex commercial litigation.

  • Strong research writing and analytical skills with demonstrated attention to detail.

  • Excellent academic credentials (top of class or from a top-tier law school).

  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of humor and a passion for advocacy.
