This role leads budgeting forecasting and long-term planning ensuring alignment with business goals. It provides actionable insights through financial modeling scenario analysis and KPI tracking to support growth and profitability. Partnering closely with sales marketing operations and product teams the Head of FP&A ensures financial discipline and strategic alignment across functions. - Job Purpose / Role Summary:
The Head of FP&A is responsible for driving strategic financial planning and performance management to enable sustainable business growth. This role leads budgeting forecasting and financial analysis providing data-driven insights that support executive decision-making and resource optimization. Acting as a key business partner the Head of FP&A ensures alignment between financial goals and business strategy identifying opportunities for growth efficiency and profitability in a dynamic B2B telecom environment.
- Key Stakeholders:
CFO (primary reporting line) CEO and other C-suite leaders (CHRO CIO CTO) for strategic decision-making. Partner with Sales Marketing Operations Product HR and IT to support planning performance tracking and investment decisions. Within Finance work closely with accounting for accurate reporting and Treasury for cash flow and capital planning. Additionally to lead and mentor the FP&A team ensuring high-quality analysis and execution.
- People Leadership:
The Head of FP&A is a key people leader responsible for building leading and developing a high-performing FP&A team. This includes setting clear goals providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. They mentor team members foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement and drive the adoption of best practices in financial analysis and planning. The role also involves cross-functional influence guiding non-finance stakeholders through financial concepts and decisions.
- Key Job Duties and Responsibilities
Stakeholder & Shareholder Management
- Prepare and present financial reports for the Audit Committee Board and shareholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate financial performance risks and strategy with clarity across senior leadership and investor forums.
P&L and Margin Performance
- Drive profitability analysis across products geographies and customer segments.
- Monitor and manage EBITDA margin levers; ensure margin improvement strategies are in place.
- Track and maintain EBITDA Output Index at >X% ensuring forecast accuracy and financial discipline.
Cost Management & Efficiency
- Lead cross-functional cost optimization projects; monitor savings vs targets.
- Track and report cost-saving initiatives and variances; recommend corrective actions.
- Manage cost budgeting and forecasting across functions ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Cash Flow Management
- Optimize Operating Cash Flow (OCF) through working capital and expense management.
- Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts and provide actionable insights for liquidity planning.
Strategic FP&A Leadership
- Lead budgeting forecasting and long-term planning processes aligned with business objectives.
- Build financial models conduct scenario planning and evaluate business risks/opportunities.
- Monitor and report key KPIs perform variance analysis and drive performance improvement.
- Function as a strategic business partner to functional heads for financial decision support.
- Lead mentor and grow the FP&A team fostering a performance-driven and analytical culture.

- Ideal Profile
- Bachelors in finance Accounting or related field MBA CA (preferred)
- 1015 years in FP&A with 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Telecom industry experience is highly preferred.
- Proven record in driving financial strategy leading cost initiatives and managing high-impact FP&A functions.
- Experience presenting to Boards Audit Committees and senior stakeholders.
- Advanced financial modeling scenario analysis and forecasting skills.
