Job Summary

Senior Physiotherapist-Medical

Permanent Full Time Post

We welcome applications for the permanent/full-time position of Senior Physiotherapist-Medical at Bon Secours Hospital Tralee.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert physiotherapy care across the acute medical spectrum with a focus on respiratory neurology cardiology elderly care oncology and rheumatology.
Manage complex patient cases ensuring the highest standard of clinical care and rehabilitation and discharge planning.
Provide respiratory cover at weekends which includes HDU.
Work closely with medical teams to create tailored treatment plans for patients.
Maintain a flexible and proactive approach to care responding to the changing needs of the department.

Candidate Requirements:

CORU membership is essential.
Extensive experience in acute medical care including in areas such as respiratory neurology elderly care cardiology and rheumatology
Desirable experience in HDU
Desirable experience in vestibular rehabilitation lymphoedema management.
Post-graduate courses or CPD relevant to acute medical conditions is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility to cover respiratory weekends as required.
Must be eligible to work within the EU
