As a Facilities Officer youll help keep our campuses safe functional and welcoming for students staff and visitors. Youll look after a range of day-to-day tasks including minor repairs stock and inventory security access emergency response and working with contractors to make sure jobs are completed to a high standard.
Good organisation problem-solving and time management are important in this role.
Experience in facilities or infrastructure management is highly desirable but if you have the right attitude transferable skills and a willingness to learn wed love to hear from you.
About You
You are organised practical and have a positive can-do attitude. Youre confident working with people building good relationships and taking initiative to get things done. Youre comfortable using computer systems to keep track of tasks and reporting and you can balance competing priorities in a busy environment.
Its an advantage if you have experience in facilities property or infrastructure management but its not essential. What matters most is your problem-solving ability strong people skills and eagerness to learn.
Youll also need a current Class C Drivers Licence and a Forklift Licence (or be willing to obtain them) plus a commitment to ongoing training and keeping your certifications up to date.
