Job Summary
Music Teacher & Band Instructor
Bach to Rock Wyckoff NJ & Nanuet NY
Immediate Openings for Band Directors
Bach to Rock Wyckoff and Nanuet are modern fast-growing music schools where students learn to play the music they love from their first lesson to performing on stage. We are seeking skilled dependable music educators who are passionate about teaching collaboration and live performance.
This role includes private instruction and/or directing student bands with an immediate need for Band Instructors.
Instruments Were Hiring For
Primary needs include:
Guitar
Piano / Keys
Drums
Bass
Additional opportunities available for:
Violin educators
DJ / Music Production educators
Ability to teach multiple instruments is a plus but not required.
Teaching Environment
Our schools are fully equipped with:
Private lesson studios
Dedicated band rehearsal rooms
Recording studio & control room
Performance space
DJ lab
We provide the equipment curriculum support and administrative structure so you can focus on teaching and mentoring students.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong understanding of music theory and notation
Comfortable teaching students of varying ages and skill levels
Patient engaging and adaptable teaching style
- Prior teaching or performance experience preferred
Responsibilities
Teach private music lessons and/or direct student bands
Track student progress and communicate feedback to families
Prepare students for recitals showcases and live performances
Maintain a safe organized and positive learning environment
