- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification/license in Special Education
- Prior experience working with students with special needs preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of current special education laws regulations and best practices
- Strong understanding of different disabilities and the ability to tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience flexibility and a genuine passion for advocating for and supporting students with special needs
