Those in rewards and benefits at PwC will specialise in providing comprehensive consulting services related to total rewards compensation programmes and employee benefits. You will work closely with clients to analyse their reward and benefits strategies design competitive and equitable compensation structures and develop cost-effective and attractive benefits packages.

Our Management Consultants work with the client and project teams to support global engagements from India through activities that are driven towards delivering results - conduct analyses and develop insights prepare excel models analyze large sets of data capture as-is processes prepare work plans design to-be addition consultants also support project lead work directly with client teams and facilitate meetings to enable decision making organize and prepare recommendations on client issues and participate actively in new business development thought leadership and firm building activities.

At PwC Workforce Solutions team of consultants work with their US counterparts to develop both short and long-term solutions for our clients. Our practitioners facilitate transformation by conducting strategic change initiatives designing HR processes developing and implementing learning interventions supporting various HR PMO activities perform actuarial valuations benchmark rewards and compensation job and talent architecture framework designing and harmonizing total rewards pension de-risking strategies and special studies that align with the clients business strategy.

The Workforce Solutions (WS) competency at ACs in India are well established.

Core responsibilities as a Senior Associate would entail (but not limited to)

Key Responsibilities:

As a WS practitioner you will play a key role in helping clients overcome their transformation challenges by developing their compensation strategies through analysis of industry benchmarks company policies and culture and employee performance. As part of the team you will support in preparing job architecture framework executive pay packages Incentives design equity valuations compliance and regulatory requirements and financial planning and reporting.

As such the key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

  • Be a subject matter expert in one or more areas in the Rewards domain such as: Broad-based Compensation Executive compensation Benefits Design Incentive Pay Design Job evaluation & Job Grading Regional rewards analysis Equity Compensation
  • Interpret market and organizational data to assess the business impact of compensation and rewards decisions ensuring alignment with client strategy and long-term value creation
  • Develop and apply global guidelines frameworks and methodologies that align with the business strategy and vision.
  • Engage with client leadership to translate workforce insights into actionable business recommendations demonstrating the link between people strategy and performance outcomes
  • Lead and evaluate business data to draw conclusions and develop insightful Rewards strategies and solutions
  • Proactively identify and track key risks project KPIs opportunities etc. and incorporate these into project planning and development
  • Assist the practice leadership with client proposals thought leadership and contribute proactively to firm building initiatives

Must-have skills

  • Specialist in designing compensation plans short- and long-term variable pay job evaluations and salary recommendations including assessing and integrating acquired roles.
  • Skilled in analyzing and benchmarking client data using market compensation survey databases.
  • Possess strong business acumen and understand the impact of business processes and decisions on people and the organization.
  • Have strong analytical report-writing facilitation communication and presentation skills with high commitment to quality client service
  • Strong work ethics proactive and professional behavior

Good-to-have skills

  • Be able to work and manage tasks in a fast-paced and highly flexible environment
  • Working knowledge of analytical tools like Alteryx Tableau PowerBi Advanced Excel Microsoft Power Suite

  • Supports engagement manager in delivering engagements by identifying and addressing client needs

Eligibility Criteria

  • MBA or Masters degree in Business Administration/Management Human Resources Management
  • Relevant experience of 4 to 7 years in Total Rewards
  • Authorized to work in India
  • Offer letter is subject to successful verification of documents and meeting the eligibility criteria
