Shifts Available:
- Saturday 10PM-6AM
- FridayMonday 2-10PM Wednesday 10PM-6AM
As a Customer Service Security Officer your primary responsibility will be to provide JSB standard customer service while ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients customers employees visitors and guests. You will be the face of our organization maintaining a professional demeanor and presenting yourself with confidence and poise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist visitors provide directions and deter loitering
- Respond immediately to emergencies providing necessary support and contacting emergency services when required
- Patrol the site ensuring a secure environment
- Write detailed incident reports and log book entries
- Protect our clients and companys assets from theft assault fire or other safety issues
- Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently as needed
Requirements:
- 2 years of security experience
- 2 years of CCTV experience
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- CPR & First Aid certification
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Flexible work schedule including weekends
- Strong and Consistent Work Ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Command of the English language and ability to communicate clearly
- Proficiency in using smartphones and tablets
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old (or as per state regulations)
- Authorized to legally work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug test with negative results
- Pass an extensive background check including criminal history personal references employment and education verification as well as Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
- If prior military must be able to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated upon job offer
