Full time permanent onsite role
Salary - $115000 to $135000/ year
Partial relocation & no sign on on bonus.
Must-Haves
  1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  2. Current WV RN license (or eligible for licensure).
  3. 5 7 years of progressive leadership experience in Womens and Childrens Health
  4. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships with surgeons and anesthesia providers.
  5. BLS ACLS NRP certifications required (or obtained within a defined timeframe)

Job Description
How youll contribute
The Director of Nursing Womens and Childrens Health provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the Womens and Childrens Department. This role directs departmental activities manages resources and ensures the highest-quality patient-centered care for women infants and pediatric populations. The Director is responsible for aligning departmental goals with organizational objectives driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement departmental goals plans and standards that meet the clinical administrative legal and ethical requirements of the organization.
  2. Operational Oversight: Direct and evaluate Womens & Childrens Services including labor & delivery postpartum nursery NICU and pediatric care. Ensure optimal patient outcomes satisfaction and quality performance.
  3. Staff & Development: Oversee hiring orientation evaluations corrective actions and continuing education. Cultivate a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and staff engagement.
  4. Financial Management: Prepare monitor and evaluate departmental budgets ensuring compliance with allocated funding. Lead and support internal and external audits.
  5. Quality & Safety: Integrate evidence-based nursing practices into protocols and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA Joint Commission and other accrediting bodies).
  6. Collaboration: Partner with physicians advanced practice providers and hospital leadership to enhance care coordination patient experience and service delivery.
  7. Other Duties: Maintain regular and reliable attendance and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
  8. Recruits mentors and develops perioperative nursing staff fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  9. Oversees ongoing staff education competency and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards.

Schedule: This leadership position is full-time Exempt and benefited position.
