Role: Senior Analyst Strategic Programs Support
Location: Washington D.C. (On-site)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Overview:
We are seeking experienced Senior Analysts to provide high-level strategic analytical and programmatic support for a federal customer headquartered in Washington D.C. This role is part of a large multi-year contract supporting decision makers on issues related to program funding capability integration and long-range planning. As a Senior Analyst you will serve as a subject matter expert within one or more mission areas - including integration of programs cost and performance analysis resource allocation or executive-level initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert analysis and recommendations on programs budgets and organizational priorities.
- Support development of cost models resource trade-offs and decision packages.
- Prepare and deliver reports issue papers and high-level briefing materials for senior leadership.
- Track and assess impacts of policy programmatic and resource decisions.
- Collaborate with leadership staff and stakeholders across multiple organizations.
- Ensure all deliverables are accurate timely and aligned with mission priorities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active U.S. Government security clearance (Secret minimum; TS/SCI preferred).
- Bachelors degree in political science economics business engineering or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of relevant federal program analysis or management consulting experience.
- Deep understanding of federal planning programming budgeting and execution (PPBE) or equivalent resource management processes.
- Strong track record in cost analysis program evaluation or capability integration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing materials for senior executives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in headquarters-level program support or strategic analysis roles.
- Familiarity with federal databases decision support tools and planning systems.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment supporting senior leadership.
- All Senior Analysts must show:
- Army or DoD headquarters-level experience
- Direct PPBE JCIDS acquisition or force development experience
- Secret clearance
- Experience supporting directorate-level missions (FD DOM DOI PAE CAA DIG)
- Experience with Army portfolios requirements funding or modernization processes
